Stitching Together’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Cassandra Like, is a Northern Arizona University graduate, with a major in Hospitality Administration. While she still had to work a full-time job, there is no question, her calling in life was to be of service to people. She discovered her talent, crocheting. Thereafter, she began gaining recognition for her creations. Rather than selling her items, she decided to give back to the community– helping people and animals in need. It is 100% in her heart to GIVE. She also dreams of being an inspiration to women of all ages and leaving a solid footprint in the non-profit industry, living selflessly and impacting as many lives as possible in a positive, uplifting way.

Stitching Together is a non-profit organization dedicated to supplying handcrafted clothing and accessories to the many in need. Our first project was launched to the public via social media, making “prayer pouches” for the neglected and abused children of the ChildHELP Foundation. Most of the time, these children are taken from their homes with only the clothes on their back, leaving family behind and/or not having experienced the joys of a family at all. These prayer pouches are to act as a small token given to these children to instill faith and hope into their lives when all seems lost. It is intended for these children to store their hopes, dreams, wishes, goals and prayers in the pouch, place it under their pillow at night to sleep on.

Stitching Together can gladly accept donations! These donations are crucial to the growth and development of the organization. It is our vision to be able to supply our volunteers with the supplies needed for this project. We also cannot deny that marketing plays an important role when raising awareness! Just know, 100% of your donation is going right back into the organization so that we can continue touching the lives of others.
